FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Normally, my pricing is based on an hourly rate, which is dependent on the service. They are as follows: -For Network Services: $50/hour -For Data Services: $50-80/hour -For System Services: $50-100/hour I will also do bundled pricing if more than one service is needed. In that case, I have fixed prices, but I will negotiate with the client. If new hardware/products are needed, prices are based on cost of products. First hour of service includes drive time, on site consultation, and initial troubleshooting. One hour charge minimum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to handle all customers the same, with care and respect. I like to get to know them, and how they use their technology, so that it helps me better create a solution that's fitted for them. I want to be able to address any and all concerns or questions. Usually, I have a three phase solution process. First, I'll consult with the client to assess their needs and/or wants. Second, I develop a list of options for providing a solution in different tiers depending on best price versus best practice. Third, I implement the solution with the client, and fine tune it to fit their needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my BS in Computer Information Systems, focusing on Network Security and Cloud Computing. I've been in the enterprise IT field for roughly 10 years, and have always been known as the "in-house IT guy" for friends and family. I also worked in tech sales for over 2 years; where customer service and selling benefits rather than features was my focus. I've also had extensive training and experience with Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, HP, Dell, and other vendors.
