FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Tree jobs are very complex. It's difficult to have a standard hourly rate or similar. Danger of the job, how large the tree and the type of tree all factor into pricing. Some wood is easier to cut and therefore I can cut longer without changing chains or sharpening is just one example.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Due to the complexity of cutting trees, I like to see most jobs in person to give an accurate estimate. All estimates are free and no obligation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up as the chainsaw guy for both grandparents. Under their supervision, I helped them cut wood for heat as a young boy. I later got a job with a company and was their full time chain saw guy. This job paid my way through college. With chainsaw work, there is no better teacher than experience.
