FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are always lower than anyone else and my quality is top of the line. In reality, my prices are so reasonable I feel it includes any discounts. I'm a Veteran so maybe that could be considered a discount. I mean to say that in a very respectful way.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the customer and first listen to their idea and wants. Then I can measure the roof and show examples of roof colors and shingles designs. I prefer the 30 year Architect shingles that can withstand 130 mph winds. When then talk about dumpster placement if there is a tear-off to be performed. I then have to check for outside electrical outlets for compressor and some tools hook-ups. I need about a day after all this to make a spreadsheet of material, taxes on material, roof apply labor, tear-off labor, dumpster, and Building Permit costs. All labor is figured at a projected hourly cost. II then call the customer and tell them the costs and they get back to me if they want the worked performed by my crew and I. Then we set a date for work to start at both of our convience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with some of the best roofers in the Business. Also, working years for Roofing Companies has shown me my quality is much higher than theirs. I have three years metal roofing experience and have done all the hot roofing available. I've also developed dog's nose for finding repairs problems.
