FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For private classes and consultations, I usually charge a sliding scale of $80 - $100 an hour. For group classes I charge between $30 - $50 an hour. For design projects (murals, illustrations, directing projects etc) I like to start with a consultation and then discuss the budget of the client and create designs based on the budget. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on the project needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One of my specialties is collaboration. I really enjoy co-creating an exciting artistic process with my clients, collaborators, students and teams. I see us as partners in an endeavor so usually I will start with asking questions: What kind of process would feel most exciting to you? What are the most important values you bring to the project? What time/deadline structures or payment structures best fit your needs? This type of discussion usually creates the foundation for us as we head into our work together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
