FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All my lessons are the same price: 35 dollars for 30 minutes, 50 for an hour, or 125 for the month which includes 1 half hour lesson each week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson always consists of a sort of "Aptitude test". If the student has had previous lessons or experience I have them show me a variety of different things they may have previously worked on. If no previous experience, then we start from the beginning based on the lesson that they are taking. Other than this, we set a goal that we can keep working towards and that keeps us both moving forwards to reach it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 6 years of teaching experience in various different places as well as instruments. I spent 4 years teaching at a high school for the brass section, I was the select lesson instructor for some R.U.S.D. schools elementary band program, I was chosen 3 years in a row as a voice instructor for musical theater in both Riverside as well as Fullerton. All this in addition to the various private students I have had through the years. I also have my Bachelors of Music and am currently working towards my Masters of Music at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music.
