FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
hourly I bid at $45 an hour, 4 hour minimum, this is pretty standard, though many contractors at my level bid at $110 an hour. I believe $45 is fair, It pays my bills, many of my customers give me extra, they know I do extra for them. I do ultra high end work. I am meticulous, methodical, clean, and tedious.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet, see the work that needs to be done. I will give a estimate, go home, crunch some numbers and give you an actual figure within 48 hours. Smaller jobs I just do time and materials. I require 50% of the bid price up front, and I only work for cash.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been painting for 16 years, from day one it was like "I was ment to do this job". I am good at it so I will probably do it for the rest of my life. I have been working in the trades for 20 years. I have done pretty much everything. If you need something done just ask, I can either do it or refer you to someone that can.
