Rhonda Tappan was extremely helpful, upfront, and honest with me regarding the age of my computer and the possible cost of replacement parts (if they could be found). We discussed the possibility of data retrieval and diagnostic. I let Rhonda know that there was no data to retrieve, as I save everything on external hard drives. She suggested that due to the age of my computer (8-10 years old), I might consider replacing it rather than attempting to repair it. Her concern was me taking it somewhere and being charged $60.00 - $130, for an hour or two to diagnose my computer, when there is a very good chance it couldn't be repaired. I asked if I could call and consult with her on future computer purchases; she gladly agreed. I did take my comuter to two (2) other repair place the same day. After telling them both the same thing I had told Rhonda, they were going to charge me $125.00 & $130.00 to diagnose the problem. Rhonda did not charge me a thing.
