FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, for certain jobs that are basic tasks such as new router set up, printer installs or basic home theater set up, that is a set price based on number of devices involved. Jobs that involve troubleshooting, virus removal and other unknown variables are billed at an hourly rate plus service charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer for the first time I like you ask a lot of questions to get a feel for the problem and what it is they are actually going to accomplish by working with us. When something isn't working properly the customer may not always know how to articulate the problem accurately so it's up to us as the professionals to ask the right questions in order to get the job done right. The first time!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a United States Air Force technology degree, years of home theater experience and several computer/ IT certifications (Microsoft, HP, CompTia) that I've attained while working in the IT community over the past 16 years.
