I'm a certified music teacher with over 30 years experience, and I'll get you where you want to go much faster by teaching you the fundamentals of music. This allows you to play and sing the songs you like, without wasting time on songs you don't like.

Dave Stevens is not only an extraordinary, versatile musician, he has a rare gift for being able to teach students music in a way that they understand and enjoy. He quite literally changed my son's life through his teaching. Dave was his first music instructor, and he helped instill a love of music in him that continues to grow. He swiftly became one of the top young musicians in northern Minnesota with Dave's help. My son can now write his own music, and he plays every instrument and sings on his high-quality original songs which he also records and mixes. I can't imagine this happening without Dave. I also had the opportunity to be taught by Dave as he organized an ongoing "Friday Night Jam" event for a few of his friends. With his encouragement, I organized a band, and now have over 10 years of experience doing something I love. He is an all-world talent, one who gained wide respect in northern Minnesota when he lived here. He is also a good man. Any student would be extremely fortunate to work with him!
