- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As with all movers in Minnesota, our rates are set in a tariff that is on file with the Minnesota Department of Transportation. It is illegal to vary from these published rates, and we always adhere to them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer contacts us, we would like to perform a free in-home estimate so we can provide an accurate cost. This will help avoid surprises, such as additional charges, on move day. Some movers do not offer an in-home estimate, but we think it is very important. We will then be able to provide a clear, written estimate for the customer to review.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our company is active in local organizations, such as the Better Business Bureau, the Minnesota Transport Services Association, and the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition, as an agent for Mayflower Transit, our employees engage in ongoing training of various types, to stay up to date in our industry.
