Introduction: Hello! I earned a bachelor's degree in music and have been teaching for over 30 years. I have written and recorded four commercially released albums and have performed on multiple releases by other artists. I also worked as a commercial composer and was selected by the Songwriters Hall of Fame to be a part of their Songwriters Showcase. Throughout my music career I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge and helping others find joy and satisfaction through music. I am amazed by the latest scientific findings that show the mental and emotional benefits learning a musical instrument brings to both children and adults.

Julie is a wonderful teacher. She is fun, knowledgeable, and patient. I take lessons with her as an adult. She takes the time to get to know her students and their individual goals. I highly recommend taking lessons with her!

Julie has been working with my 12 year old done for several months now. He really enjoys the piano and Julie keeps it interesting. She is able to gauge when he needs something extra to keep his interest. Julie is always on time and very sweet!
