FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am beginning my business and my fees reflect my growing 1-man company. What better way to capitalize on getting professional home organizational services on a budget with a wonder woman, self-starter home organizational pro who is in the first stages of her organizing journey! $25 per hour
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we first talk through email or phone I'll want to know what type of services are you looking for. Every person and personality is different. You might want to be involved (or not!), or you might need advice 1. Are you looking for teammate who can help advise, work with you to organize a small or large project? 2. Are you looking for a self-sufficient pro to establish and execute an organizing system on their own? Everyone is busy, and sometimes you need an organizer to just get it done while you work, maintain family life. 3. Are you going through a life moment and need a lending hand to advise you on spacial planning and decluttering? (i.e.: move, inheritance, divorce, marriage, new child, etc) 4. Something else? After I learn more about what you need, we can talk about ideas over the phone/email, or we will set up a 20 min free consultation where I come to your home and assess the project. I'll estimate the number of hours the project will take and plan any storage purchases (bins, baskets, labels, etc) beforehand. We will then plan a time execute the project. After that, voila! Your Ahhhh! to ahhhhh space will be complete!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Loyola University Chicago and earned my Bachelor's in Psychology in 2009. During college and after, I worked for a prestigious childcare agency and nannied for over a dozen families in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview family neighborhoods of Chicago. During that time, I was exposed to a variety of home lifestyles and organizational techniques. Many of the mothers were stay at home moms from which I learned many of my organizing techniques. Chicago row homes are tight and cramped, but man! we made the multitude of toys, clothes, puffy coats, bikes, etc fit seamlessly into a lifestyle without being overbearing. One minute the kids were sprawled out doing an art project while I made dinner and 20 minutes later we could put every thing away and tidy up before guests were coming over for dinner. The ease in which this happened was because we helped create systems that worked - every item had a home!
