FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free consultation for each client. If the client feels I am a good fit for them, I charge an hourly fee. I have a 3 hour minimum per session, which I've found (3-5 hours) to be a big enough time allotment to see progress! I discount the rate for military families. I do pro-bono work for charities.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer every client I work with a free consultation where I listen carefully to what the client needs and wants to accomplish. During the consultation, which can be done in person or over the phone with emailed photos, we discuss what is working in the space, what isn't, and what would be the ideal outcome. The next step is to come up with an action plan for getting started and getting finished!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I absolutely love continued education in the field of professional organizing. I have completed the education and exams required to reach "Professional Member" status with the nation's leading organizing authority, the National Association for Professional Organizers. I am also a member of the NAPO San Diego and National chapters, as well as a member of a professional organizer's think tank. I take advantage of training in all forms, from formal classes, to coaching, to books and periodicals. I regularly attend workshops and webinars to improve the service I provide to my clients.
