Introduction: As a board certified surgeon who left her practice and became an expert in natural health, I have a unique and comprehensive perspective on health. Unlike most physicians, I have a gift of taking this complex information and making it simple and easy to understand. My lectures are not just packed with lifesaving information, but are an experience. I believe people learn more when they are highly entertained, involved, and laughing I love making a difference in people's lives--particularly by providing them with simple diet and lifestyle tips that can profoundly improve their health. I use every medium to teach including television and radio, but presenting to a live audience is my favorite. There's nothing like seeing people's faces light up when something I say strikes a chord and inspires them to take better care of themselves. Dr. Horner is an outstanding speaker with years of experience, both in television and live performances. When she enters the room, all eyes go to her and the audience goes silent in anticipation. Small private events 1 hr= $1000 Ninety min= $1500 The price increases based on audience size ranging from $3,500-$5,000 Keynotes for large events $7,500
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to begin with a phone call to introduce ourselves and discuss all the specifics of the event. It's important for me to understand exactly what the client wants and exactly who the audience is so that I can make sure my presentation is tailored to meet all of their expectations. In addition, I like to get clear on all the logistics so that the event can run as smoothly as possible. A short emailed letter of agreement is sent as an email. Usually I like to touch base again the day before the event to confirm and answer any questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an M.D. board certified in surgery and plastic surgery. I also have a certification in ayurveda and have worked as an expert in natural health for 20 years. I've written 2 award-winning books on topics of natural health, and am a frequent radio and television show guest expert. I've given hundreds of presentation across the country and internationally ranging from small private events to keynotes for conference with thousands of attendees.
