Message from the Owner: After working as a 'human nanny' for several families, then gaining extensive experience as a veterinary technician, I realized I could offer something that is so hard to find: a reliable, affordable nanny for your furrier family members. Cats, dogs, marine mammals, and almost everything in-between. My 13 years of experience working with animals; from animal advocacy, shelter work, rescue, rehabilitation, research, pet sitting, husbandry, and medicine, have leant to building an amazing company, of course with help from our extraordinary nannies. Speaking of family, as an Army wife, I ensure Companion Animal Nanny is dedicated to helping our nation and our fellow military community. CAN offers discounts to military members and hires qualified military spouses at locations near military installations. As a prior environmental studies major in college, I've worked hard to make CAN a paperless company. We utilize the most modern technology, allowing us to streamline services for our clients, in addition to helping our environment. With Companion Animal Nanny we know the stress animals can face when their owners leave town, because of this we offer our services in your own home. Our nannies are trained to administer medications, basic grooming, and are all background checked. Many of our nannies are veterinary technicians who have worked or volunteered with all different types of animals - so you can rest assured we have your pets best interest in heart.
