With many years of past experience I've recognized that there is no one correct style or method to teach all lessons with; as there are a variety and that everyone learns in a different way. Nicole is the kind of teacher you hope for when learning a new instrument. She really knows the piano and how to teach at any level! I was very impressed with her patience, kindness and she makes lessons enjoyable.

Nicole is great!! Initially I reached out because I'm already a musician and had a short-term personal musical goal I wanted to accomplish (I was looking more for a teacher that could work with me short-term) I didn't realize how much I didn't know and she endeavored to help me reach that certain goal among others and keeping me interested and challenged to that I continued lessons after because I take a lot of delight in them. Not to mention, she's also very personable in a professional manner which makes the lessons even more enjoyable.

Nicole is a great teacher! I have little background in music, especially piano, and I was unable to read music. However, Nicole has been able to teach me through patient progression and my form playing has improved greatly since our first lesson! My favorite thing about lessons with Nicole is that although she works to give you a solid foundation in the fundamentals, she asks what songs you would like to learn and works with you to learn them as well.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took private piano lessons from the ages of 5-17. After that time span, I immediately started college pursuing a music degree and continuing taking private music instruction with college music professors. With that I carry a Music Degree in Classical Piano Performance. I've been teaching piano repertoire, technique, and music theory over the last 15+ years.
