Schuyler Karr- Bass Lessons

Introduction: With an exciting and varied career in performance (California Symphony, Joshua Redman, Brad Mehldau, Berlin Philharmonie), a BMus from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and extensive teaching experience, I have the unique ability to understand your goals from first hand experience. I have a passion for helping all bassists go further along this path of groove, and take joy in helping all levels of bassists secure fundamentals of technique, develop musicianship, and pursue the variety of roles that the bass can play in classical, jazz, folk, hip hop, rock, punk, bluegrass, and country. I take care in getting to know your own hopes and goals with music, I develop a personalized approach to helping you become the player you wish to be.
