FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to spend some time getting to know my potential clients by having a conversation on who they are, what their story is, and what they hope to accomplish with their video. I prefer to do this in-person, if local in the Bay Area, but FaceTime, Skype, Google Hangout, or phone call are also options!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been filming weddings throughout California since 2010 under the name "Vocal Eyes Media." Recently, I rebranded as "Bethsaida Productions." I've also done work for businesses and non-profit organizations.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started shooting video as an undergraduate student in college at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2007. I wrote, filmed and edited short skits for use in an on-campus club for several years. Then a friend asked me to film him proposing to his girlfriend and I edited that down into a video that they widely shared with their friends and family and then a year later, he asked me to film his wedding day. That one opportunity spurred many more wedding gigs from friends and direct referrals and I haven't stopped since!
