Introduction: I m a native French teacher (I received a Master’s degree in teaching French as a foreign language) with many years of experience. My goal is teaching a totally accurate French that why I use current publications (books, newspapers radio/TV programs, movies...) I only offer one on one French lessons as I believe this is the best way to significantly improve. I teach all levels!
For me, teaching is a exchange as I give and I receive as well! As a philanthropist I love the human side of my work! Of course I’m passionate about my language and my culture so I transmit my knowledge with a lot of enthousiasm!!

I have been taking class with Laurence for almost a year and half now. She is really professional and knowledgeable, and most importantly, she loves her job and is very passionate about it. We started our class with face to face lessons to later on having classes online through Skype , which saves me so much time. One thing I love having Skype lessons with her is she writes down all the vocabulary and grammar for me messenger, it’s almost like watching french movie with subtitles, and she types as she speaks. Whenever I encounter a new vocabulary or grammatical problem, she instantly writes it down and explains it to me. After the class, I can review them and study. She also has a really sweet personality. Taking class with her is so much fun and it’s almost like catching up with your good friend a couple times a week. I love taking class with her, she makes French fun and she makes the class interesting. Our subject of discussion goes from art, music, politics to daily life. She’s one of my favorite teachers and I am looking forward to many more classes with her. I went to France this past summer and met some local French people who didn’t speak English and we had an hour long conversation, and they were amazed that my French was so good, and it’s all because of Laurence! ❤

Laurence is wonderful! My son’s grades immediately improved! She is fluent in French, Spanish and English. I highly recommend her!

Laurence is an excellent french instructor and the best I have studied with. She understands her students learning styles and interests and she tailors the lessons accordingly. She is a delightful person to be with and makes the conversations in french easy, interesting, enjoyable and relevant. I highly recommend Laurence.

I wholeheartedly recommend Laurence. She's a superb French teacher. She tailors her lessons to her students' educational needs, has a wonderful teaching style and is very patient. Laurence makes learning fun by incorporating different types of media and topics into her lessons. I enjoy learning about the French while learning French. I can’t say enough about how great Laurence is as a French teacher. She is professional, very conscientious and is always focused on integrating new learning materials that she thinks will challenge me. She is also flexible - when I wanted to focus on a specific subject, she went out of her way to find relevant materials to use. She is always on time for lessons and again, is flexible if I need to change a lesson time. She is also incredibly kind and patient, and is a lovely person. I highly recommend Laurence as a French teacher.
