Introduction: I'm a practicing artist with a ton of real world experience- I received my BA in Studio Arts from Bard College and my MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2012. My work has been exhibited and published both internationally and nationally. Over the past 7 years I've taught a broad range of students, from pre-k to retirees, in settings that range from public schools, to college classes, to private lessons. I'm warm and funny, dedicated, and truly enjoy making art and working with others to share my craft!
Be it through providing my artistic services or sharing my skillsets with others, I love being able to make a meaningful artistic contribution to the daily lives of others.

I've had the privilege of visiting Ray Mack's studio and seeing her work in exhibitions, including the Seattle Art Fair, where her painting was the strongest work in the gallery. I've observed her teaching art and she is skilled at conveying concepts while at the same time being funny, warm and compassionate with students.

Ray has been a close friend since the time we were children. She has always been, and will always be, the most creative person in the room. Her laughter is infectious, her thoughts wildly imaginative, and her kindness pervasive and consistent. Her work as an artist inspires me every time I interact with it. Folks would be lucky to have her in their life, no matter what the context!

Ray was wonderful to work with.
There were two projects.
The first was drawing lessons for young want- to- be artists. As she worked with them on a still life, the girls recognized they could successfully draw.
The second, much more ambitious project , was a mural on an outside adobe bread oven. 5 kids ranging in age from 3-13 drew up plans based on Greek Gods and then transformed the dome of the oven. A huge success.
