I am a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Passive House Consultant, having implemented environmentally sensitive construction practices and green building design to my built projects. I am also experienced in feng shui and strive to create spaces that feel right for you.

We wanted to expand the footprint of our 1997 Boxford colonial home. The expansion was to include a large, new family room with a fireplace, an enlargement of our kitchen with relocation of appliances, and the creation of a third garage bay over which a new home office would be located. The challenge was that wetlands restrictions imposed challenges. Sisia had to consider these restrictions as she began drafting a plan. Throughout this process, Sisia demonstrated not only her ability to listen carefully to us and our ideas, but exhibited her own excellent design judgement by improving upon those ideas and suggesting things we had not thought of at all. Sisia's mastery of drawing and mechanicals made for an excellent and very accurate package. She spent a good deal of time taking measurements and checking them against original building plans. Not every architect does this, as it is time consuming. But anyone who has gone through a building experience with a general contractor where such measurements have not been made carefully by the architect will tell you that the results will be poor and ultimately more expensive, because corrections will have to be made in course. Sisia is prompt, professional, and highly personable. We would recommend her services without reservation for any building project, large or small, where taste, judgement, and competence are paramount.
