Introduction: Joe has been a golf professional since 1987. He has taught players of all golfing abilities. Golf is a game that can be played by everyone, regardless of size, age or gender. Whether you are a beginning, intermediate or advanced player, Joe can help you to improve your game. Golf is a life-long game and is not learned in a short-term fashion. Anyone can learn to play better golf. Setting and understanding your goals are the first steps in developing a better game. His coaching philosophy is based on educating a player in the process of improving his/her technique and then learning how to play better.
He has three main goals in his golf lessons. First, he wants students to forget all of the myths in the swing and to use the natural motion of their bodies. Second, he wants them to understand what is supposed to happen in the swing, why, and what the great ball strikers do. Third, he also wants students to understand "connection" and how it applies not only to golf but also to all sports and athletic motions. Joe uses other hobbies and sports movements like baseball, dance, music, skiing, bowling, and tennis to help you understand how the golf swing works.

My son started out as a little guy with Joe about 10 years ago. I have observed each weekly session. Not only does Joe have in-depth knowledge of the golf swing, course strategy, just all thigs related to golf, he has an innate ability to relate to and tailor his instruction to the individual. He instructed and provided drills for my son on those aspects of the game he could grasp as a youth and elevated the instruction as he grew older. With Joes tutelage and their hard work my son has become an accomplished high school golfer with an eye towards college golf. Joe is a true golf professional that can help you improve the game you have or if you want he can help you strive towards competitive golf. Joe can help you with club selection. Joes fees are reasonable considering the professional services he renders and his credibility as a local college coach. Punctuality and time are always adhered to by Joe. Not only is Joe a great golf instructor, he is a nice guy.

Our children have been attending Ace Golf Academy for many years. Our oldest, now a junior in high school, has been coaching with Joe Cano since he was 5. He plays on the varsity golf team for his high school and is looking at college golf programs. I cannot say enough good things about Joe. Our kids love him and he is an amazing coach. We highly recommend him and his golf programs.

I highly recommend Joe if you want to improve any part of your golf game. Joe provides easy-to-follow examples that help you visualize, execute, and reproduce successful shots on the golf course as well as on the range. I started in the low 100s and am now shooting in the low 80s and occasionally in the high 70s under Joe's awesome instruction! More importantly, Joe has taught me to enjoy the game. I look forward to every lesson with Joe as I learn something new every week.

Joe is a highly skilled golfer who taught me the beginning basics of the game. What a good teacher! Hes a kind, soft-spoken person who makes golf easy. I recommend him for learning your foundations, then on to perfecting the sport. Its a pleasure training with him.
