- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
General computer repair fee is 49.99$ Anything more complicated (e.g., excessive diagnostics, OS repair, Data loss prevention) the fee is 79.99$. Replacement parts will be purchased by the customer per my suggestion. Installation, diagnostic, and travel fees are included in the price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing to determine is how much knowledge does the individual possess about the subject. Knowing this helps in either providing a solution to the customer and lets you know what kind of terminology to use to aid in the repair process. Step two is knowing what kind of budget they're on so you can edit your services to make sure both parties are happy. The third step is to start gathering all the relevant information to start diagnosing and fixing the problem.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my knowledge stems from working with old computers and giving them new life which in turn gave me the knowledge necessary to get a professional position. Which has more then prepared me for more than 70% of common computer issues.
