FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You're making a big investment buying a home. For that reason, your home inspection should be taken seriously. Don't choose a provider that offers the cheapest pricing, since you'll likely get a cheap inspection. And that mistake to save a few bucks could cost you tens of thousands. Our competitive inspection prices are comparable to other providers with decades of industry experience and top-level industry certification and designations. The price of the inspection varies based on the size and specifications of the home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After speaking with the home buyer or their real estate agent, we'll schedule a convenient time for the inspection. After meeting the buyer's agent (and sometimes the buyers as well) at the home, we'll spend between 1-2 hours inspecting the home inside-and-out. We'll be simultaneously recording our findings digitally with color photos and screen captures from other devices we use to assess some specific components of the home. Generally, the buyer and agent will receive the inspection report in their email by the end of inspection day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our inspectors have decades of real estate, construction, and home services industry experience. They are licensed and insured members of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), hold the Certified Professional Inspector credential, and numerous specialty certifications.
