Introduction: Katherine Weintraub is an experienced saxophonist and educator originally from Sarasota, Florida. She currently serves as the Adjunct Professor of Saxophone at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, and at Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida. In addition, she has experience teaching students of all ages in the greater Tampa Bay area. Before that, she served for two years as Visiting Assistant Professor of Saxophone at Florida State University. She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in saxophone performance at the University of Michigan, and her Doctorate of Musical Arts from the Eastman School of Music. Her college students have been finalists in national competitions, and as a performer she has won several international competitions herself.
