Laryssa is an incredible young woman and a consummate professional. Her enthusiasm, her desire to help her clients get what they want and need from a yoga experience, and her love of her work shines through in everything she does. She is always looking to improve both her yoga knowledge as well as her clients' experience. I am older and have rods in my back due to scoliosis surgery decades ago. Although not in pain all the time, I do get very stiff. Laryssa always encouraged me to do what I was comfortable with, while challenging me to continue to improve my postures and breathing. Her "personal touch" was always respectful and positive. I could not have asked for a better instructor!!

Laryssa is the best yoga instructor I've ever worked with. She is so positive and brings healing and encouraging energy to every session. I like the fact that she teaches all levels and can modify any position for people like me who are beginners. I prefer taking her restorative or slow flow classes because they help melt the stress right off me :) ♥ She is also a wonderful friend who genuinely cares about all of her clients and their well being.

This review is a long time overdue! Laryssa is a beautiful soul who has a true gift of guiding others in yoga. My favorite classes are her 6 am classes on Wednesday and Friday -- she reads the vibe that her yogis come in with and can masterfully create a class for what everyone needs (even when they don't know what they need themselves!). She provides excellent cues to bring you deeper into each pose and exudes positive energy, which is especially important in that 6 am class. I am so grateful for her presence, guiding, and hugs! Thank you, Laryssa, for all that you do! Highly recommend!

I have had private and semi-private lessons from at least a half-dozen yoga instructors, and Laryssa is by FAR the best. Her positivity and warmth is only surpassed by her incredible knowledge and skill. She absolutely knows her stuff, communicates it beautifully, and is thoughtful and empowering to work with every step of the way. She's also remarkably attuned to MY capabilities, mindful of my strengths and limitations and keeping my body safe while pushing me gently into new physical territory. If you have a chance to use Laryssa for private lessons or to attend her classes, I really can't recommend her highly enough.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My goal is to make my services accessible. Your quote/estimate will include a travel, so don't worry about any hidden 'stuff'! I LOVE bartering and am open to discussing how we can make any and all options available to YOU! Most often, I travel TO YOU. If desired, I have a space available to meet for sessions in Tampa. ($25/hr) :-)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a conversation. I would like to get to know you and you to know me - The magic starts with forming a relationship. Once we figure out your goals, we form a game-plan and get the ball rolling...starting Day One!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified 200hr Yoga Teacher and am passionate about biomechanics/anatomy. I found yoga through a back injury, so Safety is a big focus for me! Currently in the process of obtaining my Massage Therapist License. I love complimenting sessions with the practices I am learning. (Expected Grad - July, 2020.) Certified Baptiste Vinyasa Power Yoga Instructor.
