FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
once a customer chooses to reach out to me after receiving my quote we set up a time to meet and go over the details of their project. I'll take some measurements and double check that against my quote. when an agreement is reached and a date set I will then collect a deposit generally used to purchase materials. once the project is complete I'll have the customer look over my work and once they are satisfied I'll clean up and collect the rest of my payment. shake hands and get back on my thumbtack app and do it again.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Well it was the summer between my freshman and sophomore year of college. My best friend got me hired on with him. I was the low man on the totem pole and and completely green. this meant I wasnt given much responsibility and spent a lot of time cleaning up. I was a quick learner and really paid attention to what the guys were doing. I also asked alot of questions. by the end of that summer I had learned quite a bit and also earned 3 or 4 raises. I liked that. And so when school ended the next year I decided to make a career out of it and 20 years later im still at it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
over the past 2 decades I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of customers. From first time home owners looking to add some flavor to their home. old timers that want there job done the way it used to with quality products and attention to detail. from track home builders that just want it done yesterday and custom home builders who want it done yesterday and want to pay you in 6 months, haha. I have always tried to do my very best job no matter who it's for. because my peace of mind can only come from giving 100%
