- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
StarCon works to make contact with our customers within hours of receiving a request from Thumbtack. We then set up a time to meet with the client, learn the scope of their project and provide them with an estimate in a timely fashion. If all of the terms are agreed to by StarCon and our client, we will execute an agreement and begin their project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The president of the company, Steven Margolis, has 30 years experience in the construction industry. His first five years were spent running and coordinating hotel additions and renovations for the company who owned Ramada and Howard Johnson hotel chains, and many Sheraton and Marriott hotels. This experience covered twenty-four cities and eight states. He then came back to Los Angeles to start StarCon. Steven's attention to detail, organizational skills, and his creativity, are what has helped make StarCon the successful company that it is today.
