FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically my rate is $40 and hour for labor and services with no sectioned time (30 minutes is still charged an hour). I do not hold any inventory of parts or accessories so these would need to be purchased by the customer. These things would be discussed in the initial consult. i will work closely with the customer to help them acquire whatever items necessary and at the best cost possible. i am not in this to sell my product as with big chains and you can rest assured that my suggestion are only for what is needed to get the job done and not an up-sale. This alone saves money for customer in that they are not paying for or getting roped into paying for services or items that they do not necessarily need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically i would discuss with the customer what the particular issue is. From there we would both formulate a plan that accomplishes the task at hand wether it be repair, setup/install, or education. we will work to come up with the most cost effective way to meet their current needs. All of this at no cost and if the customer is satisfied with what we have come up with we will enetr into an agreement to get the job done. I am also available for follow up where needed
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a bachelors in Computer Information Systems and a current Network Plus Certification. I currently work in the industry and have been for over 10 years. Jobs ranging from Tech Support, Network Administration, Management, Help Desk Support, Project Management and more. You can be rest assured that I am very knowledgeable and experienced in my field. I also pride myself in relating to people of all technical skill levels. Breaking down the somewhat overwhelming technical jargon into something far more easily understandable. I want customers to know what they are getting and walk away understanding a little bit more, feeling a bit less intimidated by this thing we call technology.
