FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project and client is different, so I don't have one set way of pricing my services. Pricing is dependent on the scope of the project. In general- For larger projects I charge a flat rate. For smaller projects I charge an hourly rate. These rates do not include furniture, finishes, or accessories, and any shipping and taxes for these items.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
While no two projects are the same, most projects generally follow the same timeline; INITIAL CONSULT: When a client wants to begin a new design project with me, the first step is to set up an initial consult. During our consult, we will have the chance to discuss the project- go over styles, functional requirements, and budget and the project timeline. The initial consult also gives clients the chance to ask me any questions they have before we get started and provide me with all of their fantastic inspiration images. Once the consult is over, I create a contract. Once that contract is signed- the fun begins! DESIGN PRESENTATION: I present design concepts and inspiration for space(s) being designed. Client will provide adequate feedback of concept for any revisions needed. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS: I create a set of finalized documents and interior drawings (if/as needed) based off revisions made during the design presentation needed to supplement the design period. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Once all documentation is approved by you, I will oversee ordering and shipping of products to your location. I work hand in hand with vendors and contractors to ensure all materials and installations arrive and are installed to spec. After all construction is completed, furniture and accessories go in. INSTALL DAY: Once all items are acquired, I will have an assistant or small team with me depending on the size of the project to help install furniture and accessories. PHOTOGRAPHY DAY: Once space is completed, we will set up a day to come in and shoot your completed project. I love to have a portfolio of work to remember my past clients by, as well as to show my future clients. PARTY TIME: A beautiful makeover deserves a celebration! Invite over your friends and family and fall in love with your new space!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
