FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our first conversation I usually ask the client what his/her budget is. I can almost always promise their dream event within their budget. I will also ask the color scheme and theme of the wedding to get an idea of what the client is looking for. From there, I sort through all of the clients "I kind of like this" photos and begin to get an idea of exactly how to make the clients dream come true!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have what you might call, "on the job training", but with a twist. I grew up helping my grandmother do the flowers for all different types of weddings over about the last 20 years. I guess you could say it's basically second nature!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A lot of companies initially quote brides a price for wedding flowers that might perfectly fit your budget, but what most people don't know is the amount of product that will be given for that price. Some companies use 10-15 roses in a brides bouquet and charge the same price as another company that would use 20-30 roses. Flowers by McKenzie's goal is to use as many flowers as possible in every arrangement no matter your budget.
