FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions, and you get what you pay for. I know it probably sounds like a scheme to get you to hire me or pay more, but it’s honestly true. Good photographers and videographers charge more because their work is good. This is an industry that requires a lot of specialized equipment and skills that takes years to master and costs a lot of money. If you want a good product, you can’t cheap out. You can’t pay for a Smart car and expect a Lamborghini. It may seem like a lot of money, and can be, but in the end you get a high quality product whether that be a beautifully crafted wedding video or a professional promotional video for a commercial brand. So if you see something that you’re being charged for that doesn’t make sense to you, ask about it! You should never have to pay for something you don’t need. And once they explain the reasoning behind the expense it may just help you to learn how much equipment and intricate expenditures go into a production, whether you decide to pay it or not. So don’t be afraid to ask questions.
