Introduction: We have multiple teachers with specialties in a variety of musical styles including Blues, Rock, Metal, Classical, Country & Jazz. Chances are if you are into a certain type of music we have the teacher that specializes in it. Many of our teachers have been with us a minimum of three years and most have been with us an average of 15 years. They are dedicated to their art and will make you a better player. We teach students of all ages from 5 and up. It's never too late to learn an instrument and enjoy the years of pleasure from doing so. Our teachers are patient and will help you improve no matter what your learning speed or ability.

I've been taking lessons from Hawk at Perry's Music for years. I started out as a total beginner just wanting to learn some simple rock songs. Over the years as my musical tastes and goals have expanded, Hawk has been able to accommodate every style and concept I've moved into on the guitar - whether it be rock, jazz, classical, or even advanced music theory - as well as show me plenty of cool new things I was unaware of. I would recommend him as a teacher to any player of any level , but especially those looking to play more technically advanced styles of music or just looking to get more serious on the guitar, or the piano which he also teaches and plays at an advanced level. Regardless, no matter your skill level or aspirations, Hawk will get you in the right direction and then some.

Various combinations of family members have taken lessons here on guitar, bass and keyboard since 2007 or so. The teachers (mostly Jim K. in our case) have been great. They take a personal approach, work with you at your level and help you grow as a musician. The whole vibe is low key and we obviously enjoy the experience.
