Mary and Lime Door Design literally changed my world for the better in one afternoon. I was an exhausted, full-time working mom of two young kids that couldn’t muster up the energy or creativity to spruce up the living spaces in a house we’d moved into 6 months before. It was bland and lifeless, with no personality and the thought of spending time to improve it was overwhelming to me. Mary came in for a few hours one afternoon while I was at work, pulled some existing accessories, pictures, lamps, etc. that I had but also introduced some new pieces to help get things organized and tidy and I could not believe my eyes when I walked through the door that evening. The house looked like a beautiful, comfortable home that I actually wanted to be in, not run away from! Mary has an amazing talent for making things gorgeous, cozy, inviting, unique AND tidy all at the same time. Mary knows that families want comfort and warmth and she’s able to introduce those qualities into spaces that may have felt hopeless before. And, on top of all of her creative talents, she’s a doll to work with, so thoughtful and accommodating. Ideally, I’d like to have Mary come through my home every 6 months to freshen things up and re-energize our living spaces!

Mary is an incredibly talented designer. She has an eye for detail and took my hum-drum living room and turned it into a modern space with quirky finishing touches, that I absolutely love. My living room looks like a space you would see in a magazine. I would reccommend Mary to anyone, she has an amazing personality and is so fun to work with.
