Introduction: In my 26 years of Hair design and makeup artistry I have trained with the best of the best in New York ,Georgia and Florida. I also worked as a makeup and hair Designer for a professional photographer for 6 years. Also worked at Ulta as a makeup artist and Hair Designer. I am currently an independent artist and a member of The Beauty Academy out of New York where I attend workshops in the latest trends. I have attended many classes through out my years in this industry and couldn't think of anything else I would rather do . I also trained under Rusk as a Master stylest. What I love most about what I do is being able to be creative too be able to bring out the very best in each and every individual client and making them feel and look beautiful. Too see them happy and love the way they look is the most rewarding experience I could have .

After checking with local hairstylists and makeup artists, I am so glad I went with Creative Styles by Lisa! She didn't hesitate to travel the 2 hours to my bridal event, was prompt, professional and her rates were very reasonable to those I compared. Lisa took the time to go over all of my needs up front, delivered a quote that worked with and met all of my, and my bridesmaids needs. We worked out a package plan that included my hair and makeup, then some of the bridesmaids needed one, the other, or both as well. Lisa made sure that I looked and felt beautiful (and most important! lol). My bridesmaids were all thrilled too. I went with a partial up-do, some hair down. Looked amazing with my veil. Lisa made sure my choice of a more neutral/natural makeup would photo well. I was not disappointed! I the opted for paying a little more to have her there for the beginning photo's for touch-ups as needed. Was WELL worth it. I like the idea that you can work with her to create a package to meet your needs on your special occasion. Would def recommend to others & would def do biz again. Next big event, I'll be back in touch with Lisa for sure!

Lisa was absolutely on point. She was able to take what (I thought) I wanted and turn it into a style and color that I never even thought would be a look I could pull off. I get compliments everyday.

I was so nervous about using this service, but Lisa made it so easy. She had no issue driving 90+ miles out to my venue and providing hair and make-up for my entire bridal party. She not only put my mind to ease about the process, she stayed and did touch ups through out the evening. I will be calling Lisa again for future events. I also was able to make a follow up appt for a cut and color and she nailed it again. Thank you Thumbtack for introducing me to Lisa.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm currently attending The Beauty Academy in New York and I also take many classes to keep up with all the latest trends. I have attended many classes through out my years in this industry and have learned from some amazing artists. I trained under Rusk as a Master stylest and have many certificates.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always wanted to be a Makeup artist and Hair Designer ever since I can remember. I love what I do giving someone what they want and making them look beautiful makes me feel amazing. Knowing I made them happy is the best reward I could have. Although I'm new to Thumbtack I have been doing this for 27 years. I will be adding more pictures of my work soon .
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A recent event I worked was a wedding in Savanah. I did the bride and bridesmaid hair and Makeup they we're so happy with the results they asked me to stay for the reception . I had an amazing time and to this day they are my clients. It took me 3 and a half hours to do them all.
