- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before I start working on a clients makeup I like to first find out a little bit about themselves like what is the occasion wardrobe time of the affair it is also very important for me to respect my clients needs if you are someone who does not wear makeup all the time I would create an appropriate look so you can feel comfortable and gorgeous I would never push you into anything that is not you! When I work with clients I like to make them up like the most fabulous versions of themselves. I always ask to be ready with a clean face prior to makeup application wich it will take 1 hr . I also ask to wear a tube top if you don't have one I will bring one with me. I love working with natural light if not I bring my lights If you want to use your own makeup is totally ok with me,price of the service will be the same . I use the best products in the market but if you have any allergies or concerns please let me know in advance. Communication is key!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 1995 I graduated Wilfred Academy in NY were I got my license in cosmetology I started doing hair color and makeup but loved doing makeup and worked in fashion week in NYC back in the late 90's meet a lot of wonderful people. I worked with many photographers doing hair makeup and wardrobe for various photoshoots, I have also worked for television doing commercials and independent films I have had the pleasure to have worked with some famous tv personalities as well. I worked for Prescriptives, Nars and Cristian Dior.
