Introduction: My name is Tish Ferguson, an NYC/ NJ based makeup artist, hairstylist and male groomer. I work in Media/Television, weddings, photo shoots and a girls night out. I also provide makeup lessons for the every day woman as well as beginning makeup artists. When booking an appointment with me you will find that it is an experience that you will have. I concentrate on proper skin prep before makeup and paying close attention to troubled skin. Because of working in the media industry I have worked with women of ALL colors and can execute the job effectively on anyone who is in my chair. Tishonna was brought on to help me do some headshots for work. We did a phone consultation prior to our meeting and I shared what my expectations were but that I also trusted her expertise. Tishonna arrived early, which was great, set up and we again talked about the look I was going for. She talked me thru he process when I asked questions and was very patient. In addition, her overall demeanor was pleasant and easy to work with. I was over the moon thrilled with the finished product. Since then I have recommended Tishonna to friends and family members. I also have a lot of photographer friends and told them that in their line of business, if they are ever looking for a MUA to talk to Tishonna. I highly recommend her!

I had the pleasure of meeting her on the set of the movie that I was a part of. In comparison to most make up artist that I've met over time, she is not only a make up artist but annincredible supporter of beauty within her clients. She also teaches classes and not just how to do your make up and not just on how to do your make up flawlessly every day. She teaches how to be a beautiful person inside and out and I don't know too many make up artist that I learned that from. When you look at her photos or seen the clientd that she's worked with, she has a flawless appearance, magnificent personality and makes everybody looks amazing. she can make you look like anything but more so than that she makes you feel like 1 million bucks every time you work with Her.

I hired Tishonna Ferguson to do my make-up and hair for a professional gala I was attending at the Waldorf-Astoria in December of 2015. She came to my location to do the job. She was early to arrive, set up quickly and began working her magic. During the hair portion of our job she brought out the hair extensions she made....by hand....especially for my hair color and type. I was literally transformed, face and hair, while sitting in my relaxing chair enjoying a glass of wine while she worked. When I looked in the mirror I was in shock at how beautiful she had made me! Her work exceeded my expectations and I will use her for any and all events going forward. Thanks Tishonna! I have always been a tomboy and have never been into makeup. Never wore it. Never wanted to wear it. Didn't like it. BUT then I met a guy that likes to see his lady "dolled up" every now and again, so I decided to give it a try. As fate would have it, I met Tish. We set up a personal makeup shopping session. She patiently spent about an hour and a half with me picking out products, explaining basics and coaxing me into stepping out of my comfort zone. She was great and I am forever thankful. A few days later, armed with my new makeup tools in hand, I took a makeup class which she conducted that was very helpful and informative. Looking forward to seeking her advice and having her "doll me up" again soon.

My pricing is tailored for the specific event. Once a Client can let me know the details of their needs I can customize a package for them. There is no one size fits all because I treat my clients as individuals.

I like to consult with my customer via email or phone about their needs. I customize my kit and pricing for each client and their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have on the job training. I have worked on numerous television sets as well as being the Head of the Makeup and hair department for a major production for MTV. I have worked under and taught by artists like Renny Vasquez and Sam Fine.
