I am so glad that I chose Daniela Marie Image Consulting. During our appointment, Daniela was attentive to my wants - what kind of image I wanted to project, what amount of makeup I was comfortable with, etc. In Sephora, she explained very clearly how different makeup tips and tricks would affect how I looked, like contouring and eyeshadow colouring. Our next stop was a tour through Palm Beach Gardens Mall. I was very impressed that she knew immediately which outfits would flatter my body. While she was upfront with her advice, she asked for my input on almost every design decision, so I felt in full control at all times. We had a ball during the entire appointment. I couldn’t wait to go home and show my husband my transformation. Because of her concise instructions, I have been able to recreate the look every morning. I feel more confident and graceful than I have in years.

Daniela is a true artist. She did my makeup for a special event since I’m clueless when it comes to makeup. It was just perfection. She’s the queen of contouring and I didn’t even recognize my eyebrows they looked so good. I really felt beautiful. The best part was that it didn’t feel caked on or over done. It was just enough to highlight what was already there without making me feel uncomfortable. She was very sensitive to what I wanted and did a great job listening. I didn’t feel like a clown. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for an elegant, tasteful look.

Daniela has classic taste with an eye for what would look good on each individual client. She listens carefully and asks detailed questions about what look you're going for, but she also knows when to bring in details you hadn't thought of that tie an outfit or makeup look together. She has an enthusiastic and professional approach and teaches you new things, too. When Daniela did my going out makeup, she gave me basic contouring tips that were way easier to try after she'd shown me how to do them. I've incorporated a lot of her advice into my daily routines now.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The initial meeting has a fixed price and subsequently I charge by the hour. Fees may apply for traveling.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first meeting begins with a discussion regarding your personal style, lifestyle, needs, and preferences. I'll look through images with you trying to determine what kind of look you're striving for. I'll also discuss color, fit, and budget. After I get a good sense of what your needs are we can move on to making a game plan to get you where you want to be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergraduate degree in Anthropology and currently work as a seamstress, wardrobe supervisor, costume shop assistant, and designer. My day to day life revolves around clothing and how it relates to image and presentation.
