Since the age of 6, Sherize remembers her passion for the arts. At age 9 she got her first newspaper job as a news reporter at her elementary school in Brooklyn. All throughout high school, Sapphire studied Law. However, it wasn’t until January 2001 she finally followed her path. “My decision to study Journalism and Media Arts allowed me to complete me both as a Professional and an Artist”, Sherize said. Sherize’s talents are as diversified as her background: born in Trinidad and raised in Brooklyn, with a strong dash of Venezuelan and a fine pinch of Asian, her limits are endless.
