The pre-booking conversations were very helpful and I felt good about booking with Austin Bounce House. On the day of my event, they arrived late, but got the rental set up before my party began. All of the staff, from Jeff to the delivery person, were super apologetic. And they gave us a discount that does not expire for future rentals. I thought that was very fair. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?The pricing is for a standard 4 hour block. Depending on the item, additional hours can be added for a varying percentage-per-hour. We also offer overnight rentals and multi-day rentals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1. We present our pricing and details such as "free delivery, no deposit, rain guarantee, etc.) 2. The customer can then make their decision and move forward by ordering online or by ordering over the phone. Either way, the customer will receive a confirmation email. The customer can choose to pre-pay by credit card or pay cash on delivery. 3. We will reconfirm the order and clarify delivery and pickup times a day or two before the event. 4. On the big day, we deliver "happiness" to the kids and if the customer didn't prepay by credit card, we'll collect the total at that time. 5. After the event concludes, we come back, pack up the equipment and thank our wonderful customer for choosing our service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have very close relationships with the manufacturers of the products we use, they are all in compliance with the most current regulations, and we are members of several industry organizations that were founded on the principal of information sharing for the benefit of all. This industry has changed dramatically in the last 10 years, and will continue to change and evolve, and we will evolve along with it as new materials are invented and new methods of implementation created.
