FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $0.50 mile if I have to travel to you. My rate is $50/hr. A typical job can run about 1-2 hours. This is not including the hardware or software necessary to repair, replace or upgrade the item. Make sure if you provide your own hardware that you have the ABSOLUTE correct OEM part before I show up or before you come to me. It can still be a waste of both our time and money if it's the wrong equipment and I don't like to see clients waste any of their time and/or money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First a diagnosis to determine the actual range of the damage. Such as a person may state they cracked a screen but could have also cracked the battery or the camera lens. Or the storage device (hard drive) of the device. The point to a repair is to ensure the device is back to full functionality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I regularly keep up with technology as I will eventually be running my own my own equipement at home to include my own server and other personal electronics and computers for my family around the home. I have attended Branford Hall Career Institute and graduated with a Computer Network Management diploma. I follow a great deal of forums and read a large amount of articles to stay on top of technology not today but months or years down the road of what the industry has in store for us! This is not limited to hardware technology but I am currently in the Information Security industry as an Information Security Analyst. Ultimately, making me more qualified to handle your equipment.
