I love teaching and have been doing it for over 10 years. My teaching approach brings together a great combination of real-world experience and a studied knowledge of how the brain learns music at different ages.

Kate is a fantastic teacher In every way. She knows exactly how to help a student understand difficult concepts, regardless of what kind of student they are. She also helps you have a bigger understanding of what's happening in the music over all and teaches her students ways to approach the instrument creatively.

Kate is an energetic and passionate educator and forward thinking musician. Kate Gentile was my drum instructor at a summer jazz program. She was a fantastic teacher with loads of helpful tips all geared towards improving my skills on the drum set. I would definitely recommend her to anyone look for a knowledgable and enthusiastic teacher.

Kate is fantastic with my very shy 10 year old and is now teaching my other daughters drums and base so they can play together as a family. I highly recommend her.

Kate is an excellent teacher that she is super nice and patient - she has a lot to offer to shape your personalized goal. She takes time to review your requests and prepare the needed materials to help you reach your goal. She is certainly knowledgeable at music and very conscious about what she is doing, I would recommend her as a teacher.
