Introduction: I earned a Bachelor's in Music Performance from UMass Lowell, and have 10 years experience in opera and theater. My goal is to aid people in improving their vocal health as well as help them have fun with music. In my lessons, I like to maintain a relaxed, comfortable environment. I adjust my teaching style to accommodate your needs and would love to help you on your vocal journey. I look forward to working with you, and thank you for your consideration! My favorite moments are when a student and I make a breakthrough; when something finally clicks for them, and their face lights up because they just accomplished something that was so difficult when we started out.

I have worked with Hallie on numerous occasions both as a colleague and under her tutelage. Her command of vocal technique and the required elements of vocal health have been immensely helpful as an emerging composer and aspiring vocalist. Hallie's accessible approach to technique and musicality is her strongest trait as an instructor. She also tailors her instruction to each individual students' aspirations as a vocalist which has proven highly successful. Not only is she a joy to work with, but she has a beautiful voice as well - would highly recommend her.

Hallie is a lovely young woman who helped my daughter, Olivia, come out of her shell. I used to hear her sing in her room, but would never sing in front of me or her father. After a few months with Hallie, she auditioned for the school musical, Beauty and the Beast. She got the role of Mrs. Potts. I know she wanted to be Belle, but we were so proud of her when she sang the title song. We were more impressed that she sang for an audience. I've recommended her to other mothers. Olivia looks forward to her lessons.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work at Everything Musical in Columbus, GA, so prices are set by the store. $35 for half an hour, and $60 for an hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I interview the student for part of the first lesson to distinguish goals, desires, trepidation, and any prior knowledge. Normally, we then go over just the basics of the voice, vocal health, and some breathing exercises, depending on the level of experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance, and many years of classical training, as well as performance experience.
