FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price varies based upon the available talent, and the talent required for individual productions. Every field has a standard 'day rate,' from on-set talent like grip and electric, to post-production like editors and colorists. I use industry standard rates for myself and my team, but my company avoids overhead like large facilities to keep costs to client as low as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is to work with the client personally to flesh out the established needs and potential uses of the project to better understand the end goals of the media. Media is a very personal expression, and whether it's for a small business, a large corporation, or a family Christmas greeting, you want media to reflect the 'true you.' So getting to know you as a client, both in your immediate needs and future aspirations, is what sets our production team apart. We are primarily a creative company, with a production arm. We have developed everything from speeches for political candidates to multi-million dollar entertainment concepts, and always walk away with very high confidence in the message we help create. Once we know your message and lock in the creative direction, we tailor the scale of our production to meet your needs and resources. And scaling is something we do well. From million dollar feature film launches to an budget-friendly engagement video to share with family and friends, we work with a minimalist approach to conserve resources, but spare nothing in pursuit of the product. And if you aren't happy with time frame or price to quality, we don't walk away. We stick with our clients until they're proud to have chosen us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I started working in media doing live production mixing when I was just 13 years old, the vast majority of my training has been hands on. The artists on my team almost always have a similar story, though some of them have top marks from film schools across the country. I attend industry conferences and weekend workshops to keep up to date with the latest industry trends, but more often I've traveled and taught on my experiences and successes as a media creator and director of two successful independent films before I was 20 years old.
