FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm still working on my pricing system, but everything is based on what need to be done. One thing to note is that my prices will include my services. Any goods or products I need to purchase or make will be extra
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a sit down and get to know you session over a cup of coffee. During our meeting, we talk about things like the over all experience of the event, the basic budgetary guidelines and what ideas you already have. With extensive notes in hand, I head home to do some brainstorming and research. At our next meeting, I come in with ideas and my customer picks the ones they like and tells me why. Everything tends to stem from there. Some customers want to have me do my thing while others would rather work with me every step of the way. I'm fine with whichever process works for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started working at events as a volunteer for a non-profit about ten years ago. I worked six or so events a year for about six years before I stated planning parties and events for friends and family members. I'm also in the process of becoming a certified wedding planner as well as a certified event manager.
