- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My tuition fee is $100 per month. There are frequently 4 lessons a month, but in months there are 5 lessons there is no extra charge. If there is need for more instruction or help to prepare for contests, recitals and festivals, there is no extra charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn about them, their experience, what motivated them to start lessons and what their goals are. We then talk about the method I teach and what they are going to accomplish by certain times.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's in Music Education from Butler University, I am Orff Schulwerk and Kodaly certified. I have been teaching piano since I was 16. I have been a school music teacher for 30 years and a church musician since I was 16. I have also taught piano at IUPUI for the past 11 years. I am a consultant for the International Piano Foundation and Dr. Robert Pace
