- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up an initial appointment to meet with our clients, understand what they are looking for. We then put together a draft proposal for their review, with various options, price estimations etc. This is then tweaked and adjusted, mockup pictures and floor plans added if necessary. The iterative process continues until we get to a final proposal and proceed to the contract.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started doing it for friends, then corporate events at work. And the circle continued to widen into freelancing and until we eventually turned our passion into a business.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look around, do some initial research. These days there is a wealth of information at our finger tips, thanks to the web. Follow your heart for the look and design you really want for your special event, and follow your gut to select the people you want designing your dream for you.
