Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am creative by nature and express this in many different ways. My specialties are in interior design and jewelry design. For interiors, please note, I am not a licensed designer but I have helped many people choose appropriate furniture, source antiques, pick wallpaper, organize their office spaces etc. I am a master negotiator and have relationships at stores like West Elm and Cella Luxuria. I am happy to help with any project big or small, but enjoy helping people on a tight budget work with what they have and strategically add in pieces. I do not like clutter, or dust collectors and am happy to work with your sense of style to help you create a comfortable, and functional room you will love to be in. As for jewelry, I was a jewelry designer for years and sold to high-end store including Neiman Marcus. I am most interested in teaching you how to make an fix beaded jewelry. I am not currently set up to do stone setting or any metal fusing, but I can make custom beaded pieces like the ones you see in my photos and I also have some ready made pieces for sale if you are interested. I have no reviews yet, but here is one from my LinkedIn profile: Samantha Holloway Cofounder at GoSpotCheck Sam is an outstanding jewelry designer. Her ability to integrate fashion with creativity sets her apart from other jewelers. Her turnaround time is always very quick and her work is of the highest quality.

Samantha is the best!! She has such a great eye and an ability to take charge and make things happen. She came in with a vision for my apartment, and decorated it from top to bottom in ways I never imagined. Love her, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great decorator, who carries other skills that most designers don't!

During a very stressful move and particularly crazy time in my life, Sam helped me get my kitchen and bedroom organized. I randomly chose her as she had a friendly look and was nice on the phone. She gently and with great humor encouraged me to get rid of the things that were cluttering my living space. It was extremely helpful and worth every penny to have someone removed from my daily life to go through each item (kitchen stuff or clothing) to decide if I needed it, wanted it, or would use it. I mean who needs 5 ice cream scoops and 6 vegetable peelers? I can't recommend her enough. She was very professional and a delight to work with. I accomplished more in an afternoon with her that I could in weeks on my own. She was also very flexible with scheduling and payment plans. Sam took great care in giving me some great suggestions for decorating that I was very pleased with. I will definitely hire her again and will probably have her shop with me to pick out some new clothes.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For interior design, I would come meet with you and take a look at your space/discuss your budget. You can be as involved or uninvolved in the process as you want. Once I get an idea of the aesthetic you are going for I will do everything I can to create a budget friendly space that you will be thrilled with. For jewelry, it depends if you would like me to teach you how to make a piece or you would like to buy a piece. Either way we can discuss what makes the most sense for you.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been making jewelry since I was 9-years old, and have taken classes at Clear Creek Academy in Colorado in Metal work and Stone setting. I have 5+ years experience owning a jewelry business. For interior design, this is more of a passion/hobby of mine. I grew up with a grandmother who is an interior design and I am constantly helping friends and acquaintances with their design projects. I just love to design, and will take any experience I can get.
