FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Voice lesson are not a necessity for most people, but a luxury. I try to be as flexible as possible with my pricing and work with everyone's budget. Lessons are available for an hour or half hour, as well as, weekly or bi-monthly. Packages are available and a 10% discount is offered.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically spend the first lesson talking about the voice, introducing new warmups, and hearing the student sing 16-32 bars of a song of their choice. Lessons are recorded, so that the student can go home and replay what was said to help reinforce the correct technique.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from The University of West Florida in 2009 with a B.A. in Theatre, as well as, a B.A. in Music Performance/Teaching Specialization. I moved up to NYC 3 months after graduating and began my career as a music director/voice teacher. I didn’t know a soul when I moved, but I quickly made connections an I've been blessed to have had a successful career for the past 9 years!
