FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing of $90 is monthly based to include four 30 minute lessons per month. The standard price also includes the 5th week when it occurs, any additional rehearsals for our recitals, auditions, and or college preparation scholarship auditions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is important to me to have an initial meeting with a prospective student. In this meeting, I discover their musical background with the intent of knowing where we will begin together. I give them a overview lesson so that the student can decide if my approach will be of benefit to them. It is important to me that we begin in a positive manner with a reasonable understanding of how I teach.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My early training was with Cadek Conservatory, Chattanooga, TN where I studied voice and piano. I received a vocal scholarship to Baylor University, Waco, TX with a degree in vocal performance. With leading roles in opera, musicals and solo performances, I was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Tennessee where I received my Master of Music degree in vocal performance. I continue to sing with the Coventry Choir, St. George's Episcopal Church, Germantown, TN.
